Basically no matter what build you try to play as, you always end up looking the same which completely ruins immersion. On top of that, I don't think they have done a single discount since release.Īs for the DLC, the workshops should have all been 1 large package and automatron should have included much more viable gear, which wouldn't have been difficult.
Not only did they get MILLIONS in free advertising from the hype, they're charging hilariously over the top prices on their app just to salt the wound they put in their fan base. You have every right to think I was mistaken for purchasing the season pass, but equating it to gambling or saying I should have had zero expectations for what I could expect it just ridiculous. I don't feel that 2 story dlcs is enough, nore do i see how you think i have no justification in feeling that way. I bought the season pass expecting the same level of quality. But as I said originally, I bought, and was very happy with, all the dlc released for both FO3 and FONV. Secondly, if bethesda was a new dev on the scene, with no other games and no other dlcs to help inform my purchase, then I would actually agree with your assertion that I should have no expectations of what i would be getting back, when I gave them my money. So right off the hop, your comparrison falls apart. A season pass is a garentee that you will receive the DLC that was produced for that game. If you don't understand the immense difference between buying a season pass and playing a random lottery then i'll eplain it to you.įirstly, when you buy a lottery ticket you have literally zero garentee that you will get something back from it. To me it seems more like apologetics for the developers. Its not an apt comparrison, equating the two makes no sence. This is such a tired argument i hear over and over again. You knew it was a gamble when you bought the season pass, so you are basically complaining that you didn't win the lottery.
If you don't like that gamble then don't take the deal. In return, Bethesda gets at least some DLC money from the vast majority of players who will have stopped playing after the first month and who would never have bought any DLC.
The seaon pass is a gamble - you paid upfront, for content you might not like for a game you might have stopped playing when it comes out in exchange for a small discount. Originally posted by AlexMBrennan:That is the point.
